2023 EATRIS Node Rewards Announced

We are delighted to announce that, during the Spring meeting held in Uppsala, Sweden the EATRIS Board of Governors (BoG) recognised SloveniaSpain and Sweden with the Node Award 2023 for their accomplishments in 2022 in supporting EATRIS goals.

The decision was taken based on a priority list issued by the Node Reward Committee a few weeks prior to the meeting: Increasing annually the number of external users (users from non-member institutions) accessing EATRIS; Further the field of translational research through developing education & training activities and/or contributing to education and training content, as well as patient engagement activities; and Increasing quality and reproducibility of translational research through participating in quality-related initiatives, such as proficiency testing of technology systems.

The three nodes will receive a bursary of €6000 to support their node activities. Congratulations!

Node Rewards are awarded annually, and the 2023 award is the third time this designation is announced. The 2022 Node Rewards were awarded to Portugal, Spain and Norway; in 2021, Portugal, Luxembourg and Spain received this designation.

All EATRIS member countries are eligible and encouraged to apply for the Node Reward designation during the annual node reporting process that commences 31 March every year.
