Accelerating translational research together

EATRIS Netherlands (EATRIS-NL) brings together leading Dutch research institutes, university medical centres and national infrastructures to accelerate the translation of biomedical discoveries into innovative therapies and better patient care.

As the Dutch national node of EATRIS-ERIC, we connect expertise, technologies, research infrastructures and health and life sciences data with European collaboration opportunities, enabling researchers and innovators to move discoveries more efficiently towards clinical application.

About EATRIS-NL

EATRIS-NL strengthens the Dutch translational research ecosystem by connecting national excellence with the European EATRIS network. Our network spans the entire translational research pipeline, from discovery and preclinical development to clinical validation.

By aligning national infrastructures and expertise, EATRIS-NL creates new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and access to European research programmes.

Our network

As of January 2026, FAST and Health-RI coordinate EATRIS-NL. EATRIS-NL connects complementary national initiatives that together support the complete translational research pathway.

FAST Hubs
The Dutch FAST Hubs provide national expertise for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP-NL), infectious diseases (InFECT-NL), rare diseases & drug repurposing (RARE-NL) and nuclear medicine (NUCMED-NL).

Health-RI
Health-RI coordinates the Dutch health and life sciences data infrastructure, enabling FAIR and secure reuse of health and life sciences data for research and innovation.

Research institutes
Our network includes leading Dutch university medical centres, specialised research institutes and technology organisations with internationally recognised expertise.
