The management of pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement (P&R) decisions in European countries and e.g., the USA differs a lot. In addition, the market access route between different Health Tech products is different and the private and public sector practices vary per country. The awareness of these issues is important as companies may face many challenges. Therefore, you are welcome to join this webinar hosted by Turku Science Park Ltd, and dedicated to the pricing and reimbursement systems of pharmaceuticals. Another webinar about pricing and reimbursement strategies for MedTech products will be arranged on 22 March 2022.

The webinar outlines shortly the pricing and reimbursement systems of Finland, Germany, UK, France, and the USA. Pricing and Reimbursement are linked to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) systems, are affected by Treatment Guidelines, and should be considered already in the clinical trial planning phase. The aim of this webinar is to explore the principles and practices used to assess whether a company’s product is eligible for the country’s reimbursement system.
