EATRIS has been actively engaging with research funders, regulators and policy-makers to raise awareness of the benefits and challenges associated with Translational Medicine, both in terms of the research process itself as well as the innovation ecosystems that can support effective translation. In the next strategic programming period, EATRIS will further deepen its relationships with EU-wide and national policy bodies, funding organisations and regulatory authorities and leverage its diverse partnerships to support evidence-based policy-making in the field of health and increase the understanding from policy-makers of the value of research infrastructure investments on human health.
