

The Portuguese national node was formally accepted to EATRIS in July 2019 and comprises 17 specialised centres that have joined the 5 EATRIS platforms.
The coordinating institution between these centres is Infarmed I.P. Portugal was the host of the EATRIS Annual Meeting in early 2020, and Portuguese institutions are partners in many projects such as EATRIS-CONNECT, ISIDORe, canSERV and UMBRELLA.
EATRIS PT organised 2021 and 2022 EATRIS-Plus Summer School in Personalised Medicine editions within the framework of the EATRIS-Plus Project, which is a flagship initiative in personalised medicine, coordinated by EATRIS-ERIC.
The National Director of Portugal – Claudia Faria – is the Chair of the Board of National Directors.
