Coimbra Hospital and University Centre (CHUC) is one of the biggest Portuguese hospital having a comprehensive research, teaching and patient-centred care approach. The hospital was recently granted to perform a full IT modernization project financed by the COMPETE Management Authority (responsible for managing and executing the Operational Competitiveness Programme – COMPETE – as part of the National Strategic Reference Framework).
