E-learning Manager

We are looking for an E-Learning Manager (20 hours per week) to support the ongoing development, management and optimisation of the EATRIS e-learning platform and online learning portfolio for translational scientists. This flexible, mainly remote role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful training in translational medicine with occasional in-person team meetings. For a candidate with a suitable profile, this position may be combined with our Training Manager position to form a full-time role (40 hours per week).

Job description

As EATRIS E-Learning Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining, updating and expanding the content on the e-learning platform, working closely with internal teams and external experts to ensure that content remains up to date, user-friendly, and aligned with best practices in digital learning. Additionally, you will analyse user engagement data to implement improvements. Your ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders and the training team will be essential to success in this role.

Main responsibilities

• Update content of existing e-learning courses on e-learning platform;
• Work with subject matter experts to develop new content for e-learning platform and other online learning formats;
• Analyse and report on e-learning platform usage metrics and contribute to implementing evidence-based improvements;
• Manage user accounts and respond to user feedback and support requests for the EATRIS elearning platform
• Develop short online content for social media platforms (e.g. YouTube);
• Contribute to the planning and organisation of other EATRIS learning activities, including webinars and in-person events;

Profile

You should have:

• Experience developing engaging digital learning content, informed by user experience, visual design and adult-learning principles
• Experience in management of e-learning platform(s), preferably Moodle
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and collaborate with colleagues and external experts
• Excellent written and spoken English

It would be an advantage if you also bring experience in:

• Qualification in online/digital learning including tools and latest technology development
• Working in the (bio)medical field, ideally having a Life Science degree
• Working with subject matter experts on scripts for new or updated e-learning content
• Analysis, optimisation and dissemination of digital training content (e.g. YouTube analytics, UX based design, outreach via web/social media, developing FAIR training materials)
• International and/or national collaborative projects
• Developing webinars or self-study content or training content for social media
