Please save the date for Bridging Nordic ATMP, this season of ATMP Webinar Series hosted by the Nordic EATRIS Nodes. The series will take place online, 12.00-13.00 CET, once a month with a lecture by an expert in the Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) field. The next edition will feature the following speaker:
Matti Sällberg, Professor at Dept of Lab Medicine, Karolinska Institute, Sweden will be speaking on mRNA/LNP production at the Pre-GMP facility at Karolinska ATMP Centre: domestic mRNA and DNA capabilities for pandemic and crisis preparedness.
Matti Sällberg is a Dr of Dental Surgery (DDS; dentist) by training, holds a PhD in viral immunology, and is a Professor in Biomedical Analysis at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. He has published over 150 scientific papers and has taken three in-house developed genetic vaccines to phase I clinical trials. The current research focus is on genetic vaccines and gene therapies with direct in vivo delivery of immune genes such as TCRs and antibodies to treat viral infections and cancers.
