Please save the date for Bridging Nordic ATMP, this season of ATMP Webinar Series hosted by the Nordic EATRIS Nodes (Sweden, Norway and Finland). The series will take place online, 12.00-13.00 CET, once a month with a lecture by an expert in the Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) field. The next edition will feature the following speaker:
Marit Inngjerdingen, Dept of Pharmacology, University of Oslo, Norway will speak on Next Generation Therapies: Extracellular Vesicles from Natural Killer Cells
Marit Inngjerdingen is a professor in pharmacology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo, heading the Innate Lymphocyte Group and also serving as the head of the Department of Pharmacology. Her research centres on Natural Killer (NK) cells and their extracellular vesicles (EVs), exploring how NK cell–derived EVs can be harnessed as targeted nanovehicles to kill cancer cells, particularly in solid tumours where cellular infiltration is limited. Her group combines basic mechanistic studies with translational innovation projects aimed at therapeutic development and commercialisation of NK-cell derived nanovesicles. She has been awarded competitive funding, including a prestigious FRIPRO grant from the Research Council of Norway. At the national level, she is president of the Norwegian Society for Extracellular Vesicles (NOR-EV), where she promotes EV research, networking, and innovation across basic and clinical disciplines.
