Rosan Vegter is Senior Rare Diseases Community Manager at EATRIS. After graduating and working as an emergency vet for several years, she has worked in pharmaceutical industry where she completed a PhD on the Challenges in the Clinical Development of Orphan drugs. In this role she gained extensive experience in setting up and supervising multi-center clinical drug research and compiling reports and dossiers for marketing authorisation.
She joined EATRIS in 2016, as a training manager, supporting the development of EATRIS training strategy and providing both online and in person training activities. She has recently returned from a one year secondment at the European Medicines Agency where she fulfilled the role of Academia Liaison. Back at EATRIS, she now also has rare diseases in her portfolio and supports researchers to increase the impact and patient benefit of their translational research projects in rare diseases.
