EPF 2021 Congress Report featuring EATRIS Scientific Director

Published 21 December 2021

On 26 – 29 October 2021 EATRIS was a partner in the European Patients’ Forum 2021 Congress. The focus of this years’ congress was on patient involvement in digitalised healthcare, and the activities were driven by leading representatives of the patient community.

Over the four days, the congress attracted over 450 registrants, 50 speakers, on average 152 participants per session and many more people over its virtual setting.

Toni Andreu, EATRIS Scientific Director spoke at the congress and said the following: “To get the right treatment to the right patients at the right time requires a perfect understanding of the use of Big Data. For this to succeed we need everyone to be on board and that can only be achieved with the multi-stakeholder approach.”

The organisers have released a report summarising the event. View and download the report here. Note the EATRIS contribution on pages 20-21.
