The EATRIS-CONNECT Knowledge Exchange workshop brought together members of the Digital Transformation Forum and EATRIS training network in Utrecht on 22nd – 23rd September.
Hosted by Health RI, the knowledge exchange enabled 19 attendees from across both groups to identify common interests and engage in lively discussions around challenges in skills development for Digital Transformation. Topics included examples of digital skills and AI literacy programmes from Health RI/EATRIS NL, gamification as a way of engaging stakeholders and learners, including a gameplay of Escape to the Cloud, finding, re-using and sharing training materials for DT and digital skills, and Cluster Competence Centres and our community’s thoughts for the LS-RI centre.
The main outcomes of the workshop include challenges being recognised across the board, with AI literacy being a key priority for many, an increased interest in EATRIS games and plans to develop new ones, ideas around finding, re-using and sharing materials and how to better support our community to find these.
All in all, during this knowledge exchange workshop, lots of ideas, places to find things, needs and interests were shared, strong synergies between the two groups and a keen interest in working together going forward appeared, and key activities such as new game development were kick-started. Stay tuned – more to come soon!
