Accelerating innovation from biomedical research infrastructures

Published 13 July 2016

Following the kick-off meeting in November of the CORBEL project (COordinated Research Infrastructures Building Enduring Life-science Services), the contours of the work package “Accelerating Innovation”, with EATRIS in the lead, are starting to take shape.

The aim of this and other related activities is to provide tools, which will enhance the value of collaboration between the research infrastructures (RIs) and industry, extending to complex cross-RI interactions and novel forms of collaboration with industry. “Accelerating Innovation” focuses on partnering, data sharing and knowledge exploitation and technology transfer. It aims to set up a help desk providing real time assistance for the RIs with these issues, and bundling together expertise.
