We are looking for an E-Learning Specialist (12-16 hours per week) to support the ongoing development and optimisation of the EATRIS e-learning platform for translational scientists. This is a flexible freelance opportunity where you can contribute to impactful educational initiatives in translational medicine while working remotely.
As EATRIS E-Learning Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining, updating and expanding the e-learning platform, working closely with internal teams and external experts to ensure that content remains up to date, user-friendly, and aligned with best practices in digital learning. Additionally, you will analyse user engagement data to implement improvements. Your ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders will be essential to success in this role.
Main responsibilities
- Update content of existing e-learning courses on e-learning platform;
- Work with subject matter experts to develop new content for e-learning platform;
- Retrieve, analyse and report on usage metrics of e-learning platform;
- Monitor and responding to feedback from e-learning users;
- User handling for EATRIS e-learning platform;
- Develop short online content for social media platforms (e.g. YouTube);
- Configure YouTube and EATRIS training website (TransMedAcademy) to optimise visibility of EATRIS (e.g. via Intro & Outro) and increase views.
Profile
- Qualification in online/digital learning including tools and latest technology development
- Life Science degree and/or experience of working in the (bio)medical field
- Experience in technical administration and management of e-learning platform(s)
- Experience in working with subject matter experts on scripts for new or updated e-learning content
- Experience in analysis, optimisation and dissemination of digital training content (e.g. YouTube analytics, UX based design, outreach via web/social media, developing FAIR training materials)
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and take initiative
- Experience in working in international and/or national collaborative projects
