CEA Paris-Saclay/ MIRCen – the Institute for Biomedical Imaging – is a unique research center for biomedical imaging recognised internationally that brings together/groups three research infrastructures: MIRCen, NeuroSpin and Service Hospitalier Frédéric Joliot (SHFJ). Each infrastructure hosts state-of-the-art technical platforms and highly qualified neuroscience research teams able to both run/ exploit in vivo imaging at the forefront of their research – including its clinical transfer- and to generate new challenges for methodological developments in imaging. Set on 30,000 m² of imaging platforms, the I²BM gathers nearly 500 researchers, clinicians, doctors, engineers, technicians, doctoral and post-doctoral students from CEA, Inserm, CNRS, AP-HP and INRIA.
This institute is part of NeurATRIS, the French part of EATRIS.
