August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBAPS)

The August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBAPS) is the biomedical research center supported by four institutions: Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, University of Barcelona, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Government of Catalonia (Generalitat de Catalunya). The IDIBAPS was created in 1996 and it is committed to encourage translational research, innovation and technological progress in the field of biomedicine, through different programmes addressing diseases with a high prevalence, morbidity and mortality.
