On the 11th of October, the PHIRI Capacity building workshop “Learning from journeys in literature reviews of COVID-19 research” will take place between 10.30-12.30 CEST.

Introduction

Literature reviews are a powerful tool to summarize research evidence. In this capacity building workshop, several members of the PHIRI (Population Health Information Research Infrastructure) project will share their experience applying different approaches to manage literature reviews summarising COVID-19 research. The event will start with a presentation about the types of reviews and basic concepts of literature reviews of population studies, including the methodological steps of these types of studies and the differences between the types of outcomes. In the second part, researchers from the PHIRI Team will share their experiences in performing literature reviews on COVID-19 evidence. Finally, a practical exercise will be conducted using the free online tool Rayyan.
