Innovation Flow in the Healthcare – Regions4PerMed workshop

Regions4PerMed is a 4-year project which aims to involve regional and national stakeholders and bring regional needs to the attention of European policymakers. The outcomes and recommendations on personalised medicine of regional ecosystems are required to gain knowledge and experience as models to implement directly in our healthcare systems. In particular, innovation strategies focus on exploitation of Research + Innovation infrastructures, application of financial instruments and smart and future hospitals will act as a driving force for the promotion of innovation within the context of personalised medicine. Thus, international collaboration among parties interested in personalised medicine and health will offer an interactive interchange of best practices. Sharing experience at the new workshop will be a starting point for setting a new action plan for the development of new policies and enable regions to the readiness of the complete implementation of personalised medicine at the European regional level.
