European Medicines Agency event: ‘Research in regulatory science – addressing the needs’

Date & Time 18 January 2022 at 10:00-12:00 CET
Location Virtual

Gaps exist in regulatory science that needs to be addressed to improve medicine development and evaluation to enable access to innovative medicines that address patients’ needs. The European Medicines Agency identified around one hundred such topics and will publish them on 15 December 2021 as the ‘Regulatory science research needs’ list.

You are cordially invited to participate in the Agency’s virtual event on ‘Research in regulatory science – addressing the needs’ on Tuesday, 18 January 2022 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET.

This event aims to launch the ‘Regulatory science research needs’ initiative of the European Medicines Agency.

With this initiative, the Agency seeks to stimulate researchers and funding organisations to consider addressing these needs in their research work and funding programmes, respectively. The event to launch the initiative will inform the public and stakeholders about these needs and how stakeholders can engage with the regulatory science research needs.

Researchers and stakeholders are invited to raise questions and to comment during the event.

The draft agenda can be found here.

The registration is now open here.
