A diver´s experience is certainly one of exploration and discovery, very much like the career of a scientist in the field of regenerative medicine. You know you are in for a great dive as you enter the depths of the ocean and reach the fascinating, yet also sometimes terrifying, creatures that lurk underwater.
In this year’s Berlin-Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies symposium, the marine life itself and the subtle strategies used by its creatures draw an analogy between the way we scientists approach the different aspects of regenerative processes and therapies. We would like to take you on a journey through the wonders of this field by exploring the depths of immunology, organoid models, biomaterials and computational mechanobiology. Experts will not only navigate us through their scientific discoveries but also through their career journey and the lessons learnt along the way. Young scientists will have the opportunity to share their findings and discuss their ideas.
