Induced Proximity: Degradation and Beyond

Date & Time 3-4 February 2027
Location Virtual Conference

Targeted protein degradation has rapidly emerged as a transformative therapeutic strategy in oncology, exemplified by the recent approval of the first PROTAC for oestrogen receptor and by the increasing number of PROTACs and molecular glue degraders tested in the clinic.

This EACR virtual conference will explore the expanding landscape of induced proximity approaches, from clinical-stage degraders to next-generation concepts that go beyond protein degradation. The programme addresses both mechanistic understanding and translational challenges including rational design, novel E3 ligases, and computational discovery strategies, providing a comprehensive view of how technologies in this field are reshaping drug discovery.

The target audience for this conference is researchers in academia and industry working in chemical biology, drug discovery, and cancer therapeutics. It will be particularly relevant to scientists interested in protein degradation, induced proximity strategies, and translational approaches to novel oncology treatments.
