On behalf of the EATRIS ATMP centres in Portugal and Slovenia, who lead the GeneH Excellence Hub, we are pleased to share details of the upcoming Joint GeneH & CFGBC Scientific Symposium, taking place on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Medicine.
This one-day scientific event brings together the Centre for Functional Genomics and Biochips (CFGBC) and the Centre for the Technologies of Gene and Cell Therapies (CTGCT) under the GeneH Project, funded by Horizon Europe.
The symposium will focus on functional genomics and omics-based approaches in gene therapy, rare diseases research and innovation, translation of scientific discoveries into clinical practice, and collaboration between researchers, clinicians, industry representatives, and other stakeholders.
Registration is now open, and participants are warmly encouraged to present their work during the poster session. The abstract submission deadline is 20 May 2026, while registration remains open until the start of the symposium.
