EATRIS-CONNECT Summer School 2026: Personalised Medicine in the Digital Era
This interactive 3-day summer school will focus on the role of digital transformation in personalised medicine, with particular emphasis on digital tools, data-driven approaches, diagnostics, patient engagement and drug repurposing. The programme will combine lectures by international experts, practical workshops, showcases and interactive sessions.
Topics will include digital transformation in personalised medicine, digital biomarkers, data use and ethics, FAIR data, patient engagement, EATRIS digital resources, multi-omics tools, digital hubs, in silico drug repurposing and selected use cases in diagnostics and drug discovery.
Target Audience:
The summer school is designed for early-career researchers in the biomedical field, including PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and young professionals interested in personalised medicine, translational research, digital health, diagnostics, biomarker discovery and drug repurposing.
Topics:
Participants will gain an overview of how digital approaches are being used to advance personalised medicine and translational research. They will learn about current opportunities and challenges in the use of health-related data, digital biomarkers, AI-supported tools and in silico approaches, and will explore practical examples of how these tools can be applied in diagnostics and drug discovery.

Cost
The summer school is free of charge; however, participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangements and costs.
Attendance
The summer school is designed as a 3-day interactive programme combining lectures, workshops and group activities. To ensure continuity and an optimal learning experience for all participants, selected participants are expected to attend the full programme from 9 to 11 September 2026.
