The EATRIS-CONNECT Knowledge Exchange Programme provides up to €1K to researchers who wish to organise an exchange at an eligible research institution, with a specific focus on improving digital transformation (DT) in translational medicine.
Digital transformation in translational medicine refers to the use of advanced digital technologies (such as data, tools, and services) to create innovative solutions for unmet medical needs, and is the central focus of activity within the EATRIS-CONNECT project.
Funds are available to both CONNECT partners and EATRIS organisations that are not official partners of EATRIS-CONNECT.
Funds can be used to pay for travel, accommodation and subsistence related to a visit. Costs will be reimbursed upon completion of the exchange (including final report submission).
What kinds of exchanges are supported?
There are no set types of exchange that can take place, but examples may include:
- DT Literacy: Individual staff exchanges between nodes to enable knowledge transfer related to digital solutions, workflows, and service provision that support translational medicine development.
- Workshops: Group sharing of best practices or collaborative digital solutions development.
- Collaborative Initiatives: Exchange of experience and ideas for collaborative digital transformation initiatives.
- Online / Virtual Knowledge Exchanges: Digital seminars, webinars, and other virtual events to share knowledge.
