Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Salamanca (IBSAL)

IBSAL is constituted as a space for biomedical research, oriented to basic, clinical, epidemiological and health services research, in which biosanitary research is integrated and coordinated.

At IBSAL we focus on basic, clinical, translational, epidemiological and health services research. We coordinate and promote the biosanitary research carried out at the University Hospital of Salamanca, the Primary Care Management of Salamanca, and the biosanitary areas of the University of Salamanca.

This includes the Instituto de Neurociencias de Castilla y León, the Instituto de Biología Funcional y Genómica, and the Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular del Cáncer.
