Slovakia is a full member of EATRIS as of 2025. The country’s integration into the infrastructure reflects its commitment to advancing translational research and strengthening its position in the European biomedical landscape. The Slovak delegation views this membership as a strategic step to foster cross-border partnerships, enhance scientific excellence, and accelerate the translation of research findings into clinical applications. Through its participation, Slovakia hopes to improve the visibility and international integration of its research institutions, attract new investment, and support the development of innovative healthcare solutions.

In the long term, the EATRIS Slovakia node aspires not only to advance biomedical research but also to generate broader socio-economic impact, particularly through strengthened collaboration with industry partners, SMEs, and healthcare stakeholders across the country.
