The 5-day ADVANCE workshop will offer an interactive and in-depth program on advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), which hold great potential for achieving long-term improvement or even curing diseases that currently cannot be treated with synthetic and biological medicines. The program addresses four key challenges in the development cycle of ATMPs: scientific and clinical, manufacturing, regulatory, and pharmacoeconomic.
Target audience:
- PhD students in the broader field of biomedical sciences (pharmacy, medicine, veterinary medicine, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, etc.);
- pharmacists, biotechnologies;
- professionals from pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies;
- employees in the regulatory field;
- postdoctoral researchers;
- medical doctors.
The interactive program will include:
- lectures on key topics by experts in the field,
- a visit to a biotechnology company and a simulation of work in a GMP environment,
- practical activities (workshops, group work),
- presentations by participants and their work,
- numerous networking opportunities!

To enter the workshop, it is necessary to successfully complete the online course “Introduction to Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products” by May 30, 2024. Costs for Participants
The workshop is free of charge. Coffee breaks, snacks, and lunches will be provided. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses and any accommodation costs.
