Join us for the ADVANCE 5-day Summer School on Cell and Gene Therapies, which will take place in person from 16-20 June 2025 in Ljubljana, Slovenia!
The summer school program offers a unique opportunity to explore the rapidly evolving field of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), which are transforming the treatment of diseases and injuries. Designed as an interactive and in-depth event, the summer school will address the four key challenges in the ATMP development cycle: Scientific & Clinical, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) & Reimbursement. Through lectures, case studies, and hands-on discussions, participants will gain valuable insights into the latest advancements and real-world applications of ATMPs.

The interactive programme will include:
- Keynote lectures by experts in the field,
- Tour of ATMP production facilities,
- Hands-on activities (workshops and group assignments),

Registration and requirements:

- To attend the summer school, applicants must complete one of the following online courses by 15 May 2025:
- “Cell & Gene Therapies – ATMP development” – in English. More details and access to the course are available on the EATRIS Transmed Academy website here.
- Or “Uvod v področje zdravil za napredno zdravljenje” – in Slovenian. More details and access to the course are available on the ULTRA project webpage.

Costs and Logistics:
Attendance is free of charge; however, participants are responsible for their travel costs. Lunch and coffee breaks are also provided free of charge at the event venue by the organisers.
Accreditation:
Participants who successfully complete the ADVANCE summer school will be able to apply for ECTS through the University of Ljubljana.
