Norway’s institutes span across all EATRIS platforms: Biomarkers, ATMP & Biological, Imaging & Tracing, Small Molecules and Vaccines. Norwegian nodes have been active in the flagship EATRIS-Plus project and the H2020 project European Joint Program on Rare Diseases. Additionally, The University of Oslo has joined a COST action consortium building and Platform dementia consortium with other EATIS institutions, amongst many other EATRIS activities.

EATRIS Norway Co-Hosts Patient Day to Strengthen Collaboration Between Patients and Researchers

On 21 August, Dr Lorena Arranz, Deputy Centre Director at CRESCO, together with Dr. Anita Kavlie, National Coordinator of EATRIS Norway, hosted the first Patient Day at MIK/CRESCO, bringing patient representatives and patient advocates, infrastructures, and researchers into the same room to explore how patient involvement can be strengthened across all stages of research.

EATRIS Norway Organises Patient Engagement Workshop

The Centre for Molecular Medicine Norway (NCMM), the NCMM Trainee Committee together with EATRIS hosted a patient engagement workshop to raise awareness of research scientists on the importance of involving patients early in the research process.
