WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
This course is for senior academics, healthcare providers and those in industry roles who would like to learn more about the personalised medicine research pipeline and the PERMIT recommendations.
HOW DOES THE COURSE WORK?
This is a free, self-paced online course, however registration for our e-learning platform is required. It has an average study time of 5 hours of learning content. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
This short series provides a general overview of the PERMIT project and the recommendations it developed. It begins by introducing the personalised medicine research pipeline and the methods used for development of the recommendations.
Each of the stages of the pipeline is briefly presented, with the main challenges of the stage and how the recommendations can help to address them.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Discuss the mapping of research methods in the personalised medicine research pipeline
- Analyse the challenges and gaps in personalised medicine research methods
- Recall the PERMIT recommendations in each stage of the pipeline
