Florence Bietrix Appointed Section Editor for the Journal of Translational Medicine

We are delighted to announce that Florence Bietrix, EATRIS Deputy Director to the Executive Board, has been invited to become a “Translational Process” Section Editor at the Journal of Translational Medicine. 

With extensive experience in biomedical research and translational science, Florence has been instrumental in the development of EATRIS. Her dedication to translational research reflects a holistic approach, from preclinical study design to fostering international collaboration, ensuring scientific discoveries lead to tangible benefits for patients. Her appointment as Section Editor acknowledges her expertise in the translational medicine field. 

In this role, Florence will oversee the scientific content of the section, ensuring it meets high editorial standards and aligns with the journal’s scope and mission. She will also collaborate with Associate Editors to manage manuscript submissions, guide peer review, and commission key articles that advance the field.

Florence commented on her new role: “This is a fantastic opportunity to use the knowledge and experience I’ve acquired over the years to promote high-quality research and foster dialogue among experts. I’m excited to work with the co-section editor Marina Boccardi and the associated editors to further promote and disseminate high-impact translational medicine strategies across Europe.”
