The winner has been notified and the EATRIS Next Gen Award will be handed over at the EATRIS@10 celebration event in The Hague. Big thanks to all applicants.

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to showcase how their research will positively impact patients and society – and that could be YOU!

What?

We invite you to ‘Brag about your research’ through captivating media such as a short video, image, poem, game, or any other imaginative and engaging format that effectively communicates your research and dedication to advancing translational medicine.

You may have done great work on improving a preclinical model, patient engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, process enhancement, or have learnt important lessons from setbacks… and it might or might not be reflected in a paper.

Your submission for the award will give you the opportunity to showcase these translational aspects – it doesn’t necessarily need to have been published or produced exceptional results; it simply should reflect a strong translational mindset and be presented in a fun, inspiring or unconventional way.

Wondering what makes a strong translational mindset? We like to define it through 7 characteristics of a translational researcher.

What do we mean by a ‘fun, inspiring or unconventional way’? Here are a few examples to spark your creativity:

Who?

We welcome early-stage career translational researchers from an EATRIS institute. If you don’t know whether you are in an EATRIS institute or not, check the list here.
