The SDN Foundation for Research and Advanced Training in Nuclear Diagnostics was founded with the sole objective of producing and disseminating scientific knowledge in the field of diagnostics. Drawing on the decades-long support and research of SYNLAB SDN and its advanced-technology laboratories, the SDN Foundation pursues the following objectives:
- to conduct scientific and clinical research in the biomedical field in the specialised discipline of advanced nuclear diagnostic imaging, laboratory diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals;
- to promote the transfer of research results to clinical practice and industry;
- to conduct research in the management, organization, and economics of healthcare services aimed at improving the organization of diagnostic activities;
- to conduct advanced training activities, aiming to raise the scientific and cultural level in the relevant specialized field, contributing to the dissemination of a modern healthcare and scientific culture.
