This ATMP Summit: The importance of advanced therapies in today’s context is an EATRIS Portugal Spotlight event, organised by Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology (CNC-UC), Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), Unidade Local de Saúde de Coimbra (ULS Coimbra), Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica (iBET) and CoLAB AccelBio (Laboratório Colaborativo AccelBio).

This one-day hybrid summit brings together researchers, biotech companies, regulators, clinicians, and patient advocates to explore the development and impact of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs). The program includes sessions on the latest scientific advances, translational research, innovation and manufacturing, regulation and access, and future directions in ATMPs. Speakers from academia, industry, and healthcare will discuss key challenges and opportunities, while an industry showcase highlights Portuguese companies active in the field.
