Programme

ECRD 2024 will present a diverse and rich programme, tailored to address the full spectrum of challenges, opportunities and innovations in rare diseases. Keynote sessions will feature foremost experts in research, policy and patient advocacy, while interactive workshops will focus on dynamic dialogues and hands-on development of practical solutions.

Participants will explore the latest research, studies and initiatives via poster presentations, and network with a diverse group of peers, experts, and advocates. The hybrid format allows global online participation or in-person attendance in Brussels, ensuring an inclusive and accessible event for everyone. Moreover, ECRD 2024’s timing will be especially impactful, occurring just weeks before the EU elections, poised to significantly influence the future of rare disease policies at a pivotal moment in European politics.

All topic-related sessions at ECRD 2024 will be subtitled in 12 languages, making it our most accessible conference yet!
