Slovenia new EATRIS member

Published 13 July 2016

We are happy to share the good news that Slovenia has joined EATRIS as a member. In recent years, Slovenian authorities carefully explored how to connect their research and business communities to the European research and innovation agenda, among others in the area of research infrastructures. As a result of this process, Slovenia becomes the 11th country in the EATRIS family. Prof. dr. Irena Mlinarič-Raščan, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana, who is the scientific driving force behind Slovenian membership of EATRIS, is appointed as Slovenia’s national scientific director to EATRIS. She will direct the assembly and participation of the national infrastructure into the EATRIS operations and services provision.
