The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is organising its second Awareness Session in London, on Thu 8- Fri 9 March 2018 for international regulators, academia and non-governmental organisations.
The session is open to Academics from inside and outside the EU, as well as non-EU Medicines Regulators and Non-Governmental Organisations.
This awareness session is intended to offer insight into the EU regulatory system and the role of EMA, together with the scientific aspects of the Agency’s work and its interactions with scientific experts. Among the topics addressed will be the role of experts and benefit-risk evaluation.
Participants can also enjoy networking with academics, NGO staff and regulators from inside and outside the EU.
Academia participants may have a higher interest in the first-day topics (8 March 2018), although everyone is encourage it attend both days. The session will also be broadcast and selected information published on the EMA website after the event.

Please note that there is no registration fee but the EMA will not fund participation, nor reimburse travel, visas, or accommodation. Please also note that obtaining visas to travel to the UK may take up to 3 months.
