Successful translation of discoveries into patient benefit requires high-quality research tools and services, that can then lead to the generation of reproducible research outcomes. EATRIS will further build on already established research quality initiatives and will continue to bring together the research community for the exchange of best practice, sharing of robust methods and nurture a culture that reflects those values. Efficiency in research service provision will in addition be greatly improved through strategic and operational synergies sought with other research infrastructures active in the life science domain, such as through the European Alliance of Research Infrastructures (EU-AMRI).
