Fostering a culture of translation in Europe and beyond has been a cornerstone of EATRIS’ mission. EATRIS’ strategic objectives will particularly accelerate the professional development of future innovation leaders by providing academic researchers with the essential translational skills required for patient-centered, high quality and reproducible research, supporting scientific literacy of the general public through patient education, training the operators of the EATRIS national nodes through targeted capacity-building programmes.
