National Virus Vector Laboratory provides excellent facilities for production of adenoviral, lentiviral, AAV and baculoviral vectors for in vitro and in vivo work. Laboratory scale and larger scale production methods are available with quality controlled vector backbones.
Unit operates one GMP suite and four vector laboratories which are dedicated for each of the vector type. Unit will also give technological support for the use of viral vectors including support for the application of permits required by gene technology law. Four clinical trials have been conducted with vectors produced in National Virus Vector Laboratory.
